eggs and cookies

Its been awhile since the last post. What can I say, it has been crazy busy around here doing other stuff. Selling the house, buying a new house... Our short sale house fell through, but something better came along. We are now having a brand spankin' new house built instead. We feel really blessed. It seems like the builder is giving us a really good deal on the house.
Here are some pictures from Easter weekend.

We decorated eggs with corn syrup and sprinkles. Then we ate cookies.

Good thing Justin's mom was here to help me take pictures. These dress pics are ones that she took. Sophia had her dress off almost immediately after church. Before church she had a break down over wearing the dress and getting her hair done, so I didn't have time to take pics then.

This is the second Easter egg hunt of the day. Sophia opened each egg before putting it into her basket to see what was inside. On Thursday we broke up her chocolate bunnies and did another egg hunt. She loved it!

Relaxing on a Friday

After a crazy Friday we got a chance to relax. In the picture Justin is reading Liberty and Tyranny a Conservative Manifesto by Mark Levin. He ordered it on Amazon, and it arrived via UPS yesterday. Already Justin is half way through it.

My little girl discovered how to take pictures with mommy and daddy's camera. Here are some of her first pics.

April Fools!

Last year on April Fool's day, my brother Shane called to tell me that my sister-in-law, Lorrie was pregnant. He sounded like it was the real thing, but I couldn't help but wonder if this was an April Fool's joke. So I called him back when it wasn't April Fool's day to make sure. It wasn't a joke! This is a picture of my cute nephew, baby Grant. Please notice the mohawk. He is so cute!
