On Thursday Sophia got her haircut for the first time. It was getting out of control. I took her to Atwood's Barber Shop (pictured below.) I thought it would be a cool place for her to get her hair cut. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the inside. They have animal heads and all this other interesting stuff to look at. Sophia got a little nervous a few times, but she did REALLY good. I was surprised. I took in her portable dvd player, and she watched a movie while she got her hair cut. The barber who cut her hair was very nice. He did a really good job keeping her calm, and even refered to her haircut as a "hair trim," so it wouldn't sound so scary. He said he had two little girls also. At the end she got to sit on my lap, so she could hold more still. Her barber gave us a little bit of her hair for her baby book.
The first two are "before."

The outside of the barber shop, notice the barber pole. Very fun!

Sophia gets her "cape."
In this picture she was staring at the mirror on the wall ahead. Notice her portable dvd player, and the cool chair she got to sit in.

Her barber.
The bottom two are the "after." Cute huh?
