HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. We love our family, and we miss the ones that we couldn't be with. We are glad that this year we won't be at Primary Children's for Thanksgiving, at least not that I know of.

I am very thankful for my guitar heroes:)

pictures from the last week

This girl loves to wear her swimsuit. I've been telling her this week that her swimsuits are in the laundry or I can't find them. It has been nice to get some pictures of her in normal clothes! But then today she saw a picture of herself in one of her swimsuits and I caved. And so the cycle continues....
This one is Sophia on Sunday all dressed up. It's hard to capture just how cute she is, especially when I can't get her to look at me. I think I had a thing for the pink flower clips this past week.
Sunglasses of course! Not hers though.

Brushing her teeth. She loves to do this all by herself. She mostly just likes to suck on the toothbrush instead of brushing.

These next two I took on this perfect day for taking pictures. She was all dressed and the day was cloudy, but beautiful. Still couldn't get her to look at me though...

BYU UTAH Game

This weekend Sophia had her first non-family member babysitter. I think Wednesday or Tuesday Justin decided to try and find some tickets to the BYU vs UTAH football game. He found some on ebay. BYU got Killed! We still had fun though! It was definetly an experience going into a stadium filled with Utah fans when we were dressed in BYU gear. This was my first time going to see this match up, and Justin's second.

Both bands on the field....I thought the flag was very cool!

Look at all the red! Yikes!

crazy kitty

Couldn't forget a pic of Sophia playing in the leaves.

Our cat has been doing some really funny things already. Above is a picture of him in Sophia's crib drawer. We had put him in her room that day, so he wouldn't jump on the table while we were eating dinner. Once the door to her room was open, we didn't remember seeing him come out. We searched all over her room. All the dresser drawers were closed, but we searched them anyway. Plus under her furniture, and in her closet. Everywhere! Then finally Justin checked the drawer under her crib. Our sweet little cat had crawled in the back way and fallen asleep. We waited until he woke up to get him out.
Below is a video of him going after things on the tv.

there's a new addition to our family...it's a boy!

On Halloween Justin called to ask me if he could bring a gray kitty home for Sophia. He found it at one of the grocery stores he works at. I said I was fine with it as long as he thought it would be okay. The kitty turned out to be a black kitty after it was clean. He left the kitty home while he went to get a litter box. I was so afraid it would use the potty somewhere I didn't want him to. Thank goodness he waited for his litter box. We weren't planning on getting a pet, but it has been working out really well. He is very patient with Sophia, and very cuddly and cute. He makes Sophia laugh with his crazy antics. He reminds Justin of his favorite cat he had growing up. It died on Halloween, and we got this one on Halloween. We are naming him Spider since we got him on Halloween, and he has an hour glass mark on his nose. I think we will call him Spidee as a nick-name. It only took us three days to figure out a name....

This video is Sophia's reaction to her new pet.

Halloween

For Halloween this year Sophia was a ladybug. Last year she hated wearing her costume so much we couldn't even take her trick-0r-treating. This year my brother Shane and his wife Lorrie came to visit us. We went to the ward trunk-or-treat. It was really fun. They had a soup and chili dinner. Then games for the kids, and of course trunk-or-treating. After that we took Sophia trick-or-treating. She filled up her entire bucket, and guess who ate it? Everyone, probably mostly me. She still has a little left.

These videos are especially for the grandparents!
